Meaty, rounded and delicious
60-80 years old bush vines, non irrigated
Fermented and aged for 5 months in raw concrete tanks. Aged for 6 months in a Frenck oak foudre of 8 000 litres.
Intense garnet red with purplish highlights.
On the nose, notes of ripe red fruit (mainly cherries, but also berries), with a few floral touches (violets). Hints of liquorice and black pepper.
Pleasant on the palate, with a good balance between the soft tannins and the acidity of the Bobal grape variety. Long and warm.
